Imagine the fresh scent of a cool iceberg breeze, wild blueberries kissed with cream, and mineral-rich seaweed blended with peppermint leaf essence.
Newfoundland Natural's soaps are mild on your skin
Natural soaps are soaked with glycerine, a natural skin moisturizer. Many commercial soaps have only traces of glycerine because it has been removed during manufacturing.
Newfoundland Natural's soaps are "superfatted" (that's good!)
Our natural soaps leave a small amount of beneficial oil (called superfatted oil) on the skin as an emollient to help retain moisture (that's good too!).
Newfoundland Natural's soaps are gentle
Our natural soaps are handmade with care in small batches. they are produced without the addition of chemical fillers, artificial colors, preservatives or strong perfumes. Unlike some mass produced soaps, newfoundland natural soaps have a low ph value and can be used by people with sensitive skin.
Newfoundland Naturals' soaps last longer because they're softer
Commercial soaps, although hard (which gives the impression of a long lasting bar) contain only small amounts of glycerine. Glycerine retains moisture and without it commercial soaps act like dry sponges. When introduced to water they readily soak it up and deteriorate quickly. The glycerine in newfoundland natural soaps helps maintain a higher percentage of water so natural soaps don't need to soak it up!
Newfoundland Naturals' soaps are earth friendly
When natural soap is made there are no unwanted chemical byproducts. All materials used to make soap, are used up, and no unwanted effluents are left to pollute our lakes and streams.
